Exeter Run for Hope

This spirited 3.1-mile (5K) run/walk offers participants a chance to make a tangible difference, with all proceeds directly benefiting Family Promise of the Seacoast in their mission to combat housing instability and provide crucial resources for local families. The course, a welcoming loop through the heart of town, begins and concludes on the west side of the paved playground area behind Lincoln Street Elementary School. Runners will navigate a well-defined route, taking to Lincoln Street, Daniel Street, Tremont Street, Main Street, Tan Street, Front Street (marking the first mile), Pine Street, Court Street, Gary Lane (reaching the two-mile mark), and Linden Street before a final turn back onto Lincoln Street to the finish line.

Whether you're a seasoned runner or looking for a community-focused walk, this event is designed for all ages and abilities. The first annual event successfully raised nearly $10,000 for Seacoast Family Promise, bringing over 200 runners together for a memorable and impactful day. Participants can anticipate typical race day conditions around early June, with comfortable highs near 72°F and lows around 52°F, accompanied by a modest 16% chance of precipitation. After crossing the finish line, complimentary light refreshments, including bananas and water, will be available to help you refuel.
