Firecracker 5K

This beloved road race kicks off at 8:00 AM EDT from Schamback Park, a scenic locale nestled directly on the banks of the Ohio River. The 5K course offers runners a unique blend of natural beauty and small-town charm, starting and finishing within the park before winding through the historic streets of Westport. You'll enjoy views along Highway 524, following the Ohio River to the halfway point before returning on the same path. As you tackle the course, expect typical race day conditions for mid-July, with highs around 88°F and lows around 69°F, and about a 20% chance of precipitation. All participants will be recognized for their accomplishment with a finisher medal, and those who pre-register are guaranteed a commemorative short-sleeve race shirt.
