Both the marathon (26.2M) and half marathon (13.1M) distances begin and end at the iconic Memorial Coliseum, offering a vibrant start and finish line atmosphere. Runners will experience an "urban adventure" as they wind through downtown Fort Wayne, along the picturesque St. Joe River, and across Main Street. A significant portion of the route then transitions onto Fort Wayne's beautiful and expanding paved trail system, including the River Greenway, leading participants through various city parks and showcasing the natural beauty alongside urban landscapes. Marathoners will continue on these serene paved trails for the second half of their race after following the half marathon route for the initial 13 miles.
