This celebrated event, hosted at the scenic Catawba College, offers participants a choice of an 8K run, a 5K run/walk, or a spirited 0.5M Fun Run, ensuring a distance for every ability. As one of North Carolina's most historic running events, the Winter Flight boasts a rich legacy dating back to 1981, with the 8K proudly holding the title of the state's oldest race at that distance. Both the 5K and 8K races feature a certified course that promises picturesque surroundings as it winds through the Catawba College campus, culminating in an exhilarating finish on the Shuford Stadium track.
