Frederick Market Street Mile

Get ready for a thrilling dash through historic downtown Frederick at the Frederick Market Street Mile on Saturday, September 12, 2026. This classic one-mile race, organized by the Frederick Steeplechasers Running Club since 1983, is a beloved local tradition and a highlight of both the Frederick Steeplechasers and Maryland RRCA Grand Prix series. Starting at the Frederick YMCA, the USATF-certified course takes runners south on Market Street, showcasing the picturesque heart of downtown Frederick before culminating at Carroll Creek Linear Park.
