Freeze Your Fanny

Gear up for the Freeze Your Fanny cycling event, an invigorating start to the cycling season set for February 7, 2026, in scenic Longview, TX. This renowned East Texas tradition, boasting over 30 years of history, invites cyclists to tackle 10-mile, 30-mile, or 65-mile routes through the picturesque Piney Woods. Expect a "gorgeous (and chilly) ride through the hills", with typical race day conditions seeing highs around 60°F and lows near 38°F, accompanied by a 12% chance of precipitation, making the "freeze" in "Freeze Your Fanny" a fitting moniker.

The course is well-supported with multiple rest stops and roving SAG vehicles to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for all participants. The event kicks off at Orr PreOwned Longview, located at 4288 US Hwy 259 N, where both packet pickup and the ride start are situated. Riders should note that the course officially closes at 3:00 PM, with a possible one-hour delay for inclement weather conditions like sleet, rain, or snow.
