Freeze Your Fanny Sundance Run/Walk

Lace up for the 36th annual Freeze Your Fanny Sundance Run/Walk on February 8, 2026, a beloved community event that combines an invigorating 4-mile course with small-town charm in scenic Sundance, Wyoming. This popular run and walk offers participants a chance to brave the typical race day conditions, where highs usually hover around 31°F and lows around 10°F, with a minimal 3% chance of precipitation. The road course, featuring some gentle hills, provides a picturesque backdrop for runners and walkers alike, starting and finishing at Sundance High School.

What truly sets the Freeze Your Fanny apart is its festive, community-focused atmosphere. Beyond the timed 4-mile race, every paid participant is treated to a delicious pancake breakfast complete with eggs, sausage, juice, milk, and coffee, served from 7:00 AM to 10:00 AM. Participants are also automatically entered into a drawing for door prizes, and those who register early receive a commemorative long-sleeve T-shirt.
