Frosty Five Run (5K or 5M)

Embrace the chill and celebrate winter with the 15th Annual Frosty Five Run, happening on Saturday, February 14, 2026, in Elkhart, IN! Offering both a 5K and a 5-Mile option, this popular event begins and ends at Studebaker Park Pavilion, setting the stage for a festive and invigorating race day.

The scenic course unfolds along the paved River Greenway Trail, winding through tranquil wooded areas alongside the Elkhart River. Runners can expect a largely flat route with one or three very small hills, making it accessible for various skill levels. Both distances feature an out-and-back or "lollipop" design, ensuring continuous camaraderie as you encounter fellow runners along the way. While typical race day conditions in mid-February include highs around 33F and lows of 18F with a 10% chance of precipitation, the paved path may very likely be snow-covered, adding to the "frosty" experience.

Beyond the course, the Frosty Five Run is renowned for its welcoming atmosphere, designed to melt away winter blues. Participants will find large restrooms and a cozy fire in the Studebaker Pavilion before and after the race, providing a warm haven to gather and enjoy post-race refreshments.
