Frozen 5K at Fifth

Lace up your shoes for the inaugural Frozen 5K at Fifth, a refreshing 3.1-mile run or walk taking place on Saturday, March 7, 2026, in the heart of Grand Rapids, Michigan. This exciting new event welcomes runners and walkers of all ages to the Eastgate neighborhood, with both the start and finish lines conveniently located at Fifth Reformed Church on 2012 Griggs St SE. Participants can expect a well-marked route through the charming local streets, ensuring a smooth and enjoyable experience. A Kids Fun Run kicks off the morning at 9:00 AM, followed by the main 5K race at 9:10 AM.

Beyond the personal challenge, the Frozen 5K at Fifth offers a unique opportunity to contribute to meaningful causes. This event serves as a primary fundraiser for an intergenerational mission trip to Valladolid, Mexico, and also supports Mulick Park Public School. Runners can anticipate typical race day conditions with highs around 40°F and lows around 22°F, with a low chance of precipitation, creating a brisk and invigorating atmosphere.
