Prepare for an exhilarating challenge at the Gladiator Challenge, Tallahassee's premier family adventure race, set to conquer Phipps Farm on April 25, 2026. This unique event transforms the sprawling landscape of Phipps Farm into an epic battleground, where participants navigate over, under, through, and across a diverse array of tough and dirty obstacles. Runners can choose their feat of strength with a 5K Obstacle Course featuring over 30 demanding obstacles (ages 16+), a 1.6-mile Youth Obstacle Course packed with 15+ obstacles for grades K-12, or the less than half-mile Junior Obstacle Course offering 5+ challenges for gladiators aged 3-6. The 5K course notably doubles back through the main obstacle area, promising an intensified experience.
Beyond the muddy trials, the Gladiator Challenge cultivates a vibrant community atmosphere, making it a perfect outing for the whole family. Spectators and participants alike can enjoy a festive array of food trucks, lively carnival games, bounce houses, a refreshing dunk tank, and creative face painting, ensuring entertainment for all ages throughout the day. Typical race day conditions in late April bring pleasant highs around 83°F and comfortable lows near 58°F, with only a 10% chance of precipitation, providing ideal weather for tackling the course and enjoying the festivities.
