Goose Creek Run-Off

Known for its breathtaking scenery and family-friendly atmosphere, the Goose Creek Run-Off invites participants of all ages and skill levels to experience the natural beauty of southeastern Idaho.

The 10K course begins high above the Oakley Reservoir, with runners conveniently bused to the starting line. From there, it's a GPS-measured, scenic, and winding descent that carves its way across the picturesque Goose Creek drainage before leading directly into town. The 5K option provides an equally engaging experience, covering the latter half of the 10K route and sharing the same charming finish at Oakley City Park. Race day typically sees highs around 87°F and lows around 59°F, with a minimal 2% chance of precipitation, creating ideal conditions for an early morning start.

Beyond the captivating course, the Goose Creek Run-Off is celebrated for its commitment to the local community, with all proceeds benefiting the Oakley Recreation District. Participants in both the 10K and 5K will be rewarded with a deluxe event T-shirt and a complimentary breakfast at Oakley City Park after crossing the finish line.
