Typical race day conditions in late April see comfortable highs around 71°F and lows around 53°F, with only a 14% chance of precipitation, providing excellent weather for a spring race.

The GPS Freeland 15K starts and finishes at the Freeland Parking Lot by the NCR Trail, located at 1072 Freeland Road. Race day registration opens at 7:00 AM, with the race commencing promptly at 8:00 AM. Runners can expect at least one well-supported water stop along the course, strategically placed to keep participants hydrated, including volunteers managing road crossings near the state line in New Freedom.
