Hadley Run

Step onto the charming, flat, and fully paved streets of Hadley, Michigan, for the 18th annual Hadley Run on Saturday, July 4, 2026. This "Not your ordinary Run-of-the-Mill" 5K event offers a delightful course that is mostly shaded, providing a comfortable running experience through the heart of this small town. The race proudly starts and finishes at the historic Mill Museum, with convenient parking available across the road in the church parking lot, making for an easy race day morning.

Runners can anticipate typical race day conditions around the Independence Day holiday, with highs usually near 82°F and lows around 60°F, accompanied by only a 14% chance of precipitation. Along the course, participants will find a water station conveniently located by the Post Office, with additional bottled water and refreshments awaiting them at the start/finish line. What truly sets the Hadley Run apart is its festive atmosphere as part of the town's Fourth of July celebrations; while there isn't a formal awards ceremony, all finishers receive a medal, and the top overall male and female runners each take home a $100 prize. Your individual start and finish times are recorded and available immediately, allowing you to quickly celebrate your achievement before the community's Kids Parade at 10:00 AM and the grand Independence Day Parade at noon.
