Prepare for a spooktacular start to your October with the Haunted 5K, 10K & 13.1M at Augusta, GA, taking place on Saturday, October 10, 2026. This thrilling event invites runners of all levels to embrace the Halloween spirit in scenic Augusta, Georgia. With typical race day conditions seeing comfortable highs around 81F and lows near 61F, and only a 9% chance of precipitation, it promises ideal running weather for a memorable experience.

The race kicks off at 8:00 AM from Ann Boardman Park, located at 109 Eve St. Participants will navigate a picturesque out-and-back course through the park. The 5K runners will complete one loop, the 10K tackles two loops, and half marathoners will challenge themselves with four circuits of this engaging route. Parking is conveniently available at the trailhead and by Ann Boardman Park. Be sure to maintain your pace, as there's a 3-hour and 30-minute time limit for all distances.

Adding to the festive fun, costumes are highly encouraged, though not mandatory, allowing you to showcase your creativity and possibly win the best costume award. Every finisher will be rewarded with a unique themed medal to commemorate their achievement. This event is also part of the US Road Running Race Series, offering points towards the series. Packet pickup begins at 7:30 AM and closes promptly at 7:50 AM, as on-site registration will not be available. All participants must register in advance through RunSignup.
