The race kicks off at 8:00 AM, starting next to the Wilson Park Recreation Center in Temple, Texas. Runners will navigate a scenic, paved out-and-back course, providing a smooth and enjoyable experience for all participants. The 5K covers the out-and-back route once, the 10K doubles the challenge with two loops, and the half marathon pushes endurance with four repetitions of the course. Parking is conveniently available in the lot by the Crossroads Tennis Courts, off Prairie View Road. Race day typically brings comfortable Central Texas autumn weather, with highs around 78F and lows around 53F, accompanied by only a 10% chance of precipitation, creating ideal conditions for a personal best.

What truly sets the Haunted race apart is its spirited Halloween theme, complete with a best costume contest to encourage playful participation. All finishers will be rewarded with themed medals, making your accomplishment a memorable keepsake. This event is also part of a larger series, offering participants the chance to earn series points. Remember to register in advance on RunSignup, as on-site registration will not be available. Packet pickup begins 30 minutes before the race start and concludes 10 minutes prior. The 5K and 10K races have a 2-hour time limit, while half marathoners have 3 hours and 30 minutes to complete their distance.
