Heart 2 Heart 5K/10K

Lace up your running shoes for the annual Heart 2 Heart 5K/10K on Saturday, February 28, 2026, in Douglas, GA. This popular event, hosted by the Wellness Center at Coffee Regional Medical Center, offers a fantastic opportunity to challenge yourself while supporting a great cause, with proceeds benefiting the Cardiac Rehab Scholarship. Runners can choose between the 5K and 10K distances, both featuring a scenic route with slightly rolling hills, starting and finishing right in front of the Coffee Regional Medical Center. For younger participants, there's also a 1.5-mile Fun Run/Walk.

As a recognized Clover Glove / Black Bag Race Series event for 2026, the Heart 2 Heart race promises a well-organized and rewarding experience. Typical race day conditions in late February offer pleasant running weather, with highs around 70°F and lows near 45°F, and only a 12% chance of precipitation. Participants can look forward to chip timing for instant results and digital finish line photos to capture their accomplishment. The race goes beyond the miles with an engaging atmosphere that includes a t-shirt for all races, door prizes, and refreshments.

Beyond the course, the Heart 2 Heart race is known for its generous post-race amenities. All runners will be treated to a delicious Chick-fil-A sandwich and chips after crossing the finish line. Awards are given three deep in five-year age increments, from 10 and under to 75 and over, with grand prizes for the overall male and female winners of both the 5K and 10K events. All 10K participants receive a commemorative medal, and 5K medals are awarded in age divisions. Packet pickup will be held at the Wellness Center at 200 Doctors Dr.
