Heart & Sole Race 2026

Prepare for an invigorating experience at the 47th Annual Heart & Sole Race, set to take place on Saturday, June 20, 2026, in the vibrant city of Billings, Montana. This long-standing event, organized by Montana Amateur Sports Inc., invites runners of all abilities to participate in a 10K, 5K, or 2-Mile Health Walk. The 10K distance holds particular prestige, serving as the RRCA State Championship, drawing competitive athletes from across the region. Beyond the competition, the Heart & Sole Race is deeply rooted in the community, with proceeds directly benefiting the Billings YMCA Annual Campaign and Billings TrailNet, supporting vital improvements to the local trail system.

Runners in the 5K and 2-Mile Health Walk will commence their journey near St. Vincent Healthcare at Grandview Park, while 10K participants will start from St. Francis Catholic School. All routes converge at the festive finish line located at Dehler Park, the proud home of the Billings Mustangs.
