Heritage Classical Academy 5K & 1 Mile Fun Run

Lace up for the inaugural Heritage Classical Academy 5K & 1 Mile Fun Run, a vibrant community event set to take place on Saturday, March 7, 2026, in Ruston, Louisiana. This exciting new race offers participants the choice between a challenging 5K or a more relaxed 1-mile fun run or walk, both designed to bring the community together while supporting the growth of Heritage Classical Academy, a new K-12 Classical Christian school. Proceeds from the event will directly benefit the school's expansion, aiding in the addition of first and second grades for the upcoming academic year.

Runners will experience a picturesque cross-country style course, primarily on grass, held at The Gospel, located at 108 Sanctuary Road in Ruston. This unique terrain promises an engaging and scenic running experience. Typical race day conditions in early March offer pleasant weather, with highs around 67°F and lows around 45°F, and only a 15% chance of precipitation. Participants can look forward to overall male and female awards for both the 5K and 1-mile fun run, with the 5K also featuring age group awards. Early registrants are guaranteed a stylish race T-shirt. Packet pickup will be available on Wednesday, March 4, at Calvary Baptist Church, and again on race day morning at The Gospel from 7:00-7:45 AM, before the 8:00 AM CST start time.
