This inspiring 5K is unique as Kansas City's first and only race dedicated to benefiting Hospice and Palliative Care, directly supporting the vital services of Kansas City Hospice & Palliative Care and Midland Care Hospice of Topeka and Lawrence. Since its inception in 2011, the race has built a strong reputation as a family-friendly gathering, successfully raising over $248,000 for these crucial hospice houses. The 5K route offers a fun and scenic experience, winding around the picturesque Lions Gate Golf Course. The race starts and finishes at REI in Prairiefire, located at 6281 West 135th Street, providing a convenient hub for participants.
