This popular 4.5-mile race, known as Asheville's favorite summer run, kicks off from the Highland Brewing Company in East Asheville, offering runners a vibrant and engaging course as the sun sets. Participants will navigate a rolling route through the charming Beverly Hills neighborhood, around the Asheville Municipal Golf Course, and past the WNC Nature Center, before circling back to the brewery. Expect a challenging yet rewarding journey with a mix of paved roads and a small chip trail section, including some hills where strategic pacing will be key.

Runners are enthusiastically cheered on by residents along the course, who often provide chalk messages, encouraging signs, and even sprinklers to cool you off on a typical late June evening, where highs can reach around 86F and lows dip to 64F, with a 15% chance of precipitation.
