HonorConnor Half Marathon

Lace up for a race with heart at the HonorConnor Half Marathon, taking place on Saturday, June 13, 2026, in scenic Charles City, VA. This inspiring event, also featuring a 6.6M Quarter Marathon and a 5K, honors the memory of Connor James Smith, a spirited young man who found joy in the outdoors. Proceeds from the race directly benefit the Connor James Smith grant, providing support for SCN8A families and children with special needs, equipment, and therapies.

The course winds along the beautiful Capital Trail, offering runners a generally flat and picturesque experience. Half Marathon participants will complete two 3.25-mile out-and-back loops, while Quarter Marathon runners tackle a single loop, all starting and finishing from Indian Fields Tavern. Aid stations with water will be conveniently located at the turn-around points on the course to keep you hydrated. Typical race day conditions in mid-June include highs around 86F and lows around 63F, with a 21% chance of precipitation.

Beyond the challenge of the distances, every in-person participant will receive an official race time, a coveted finisher's medal, and a celebratory finish-line beer.
