Lace up for the 3rd Annual Hustle For Heroes 5K on Saturday, April 11, 2026, in scenic North Charleston, South Carolina. Hosted by the CSU Physical Therapy department, this inspiring 5K welcomes runners, walkers, and rollers (strollers are permitted, but be prepared for some all-terrain sections) on a course that begins and ends on the track at Buccaneer Field. The route itself offers a dynamic experience, winding through the picturesque CSU campus with both on-road and off-road segments, culminating in a memorable finish inside the football stadium. Typical race day conditions in April offer pleasant running weather, with highs around 77°F and lows around 54°F, and only a 12% chance of precipitation.

More than just a race, the Hustle For Heroes 5K is a community celebration with a purpose. Your participation directly benefits WarriorWOD, an organization dedicated to supporting veterans in their healing journey from invisible wounds through a holistic approach of exercise, nutrition, and mentorship. Two water stations, located at the 1.5-mile mark and the finish line, will keep you hydrated. The event boasts a vibrant, family-friendly atmosphere with engaging kids' activity stations available before, during, and after the race, alongside giveaways and tempting food trucks. All finishers will be awarded themed medals, while top male and female finishers in each age group receive placement ribbons, and all kids in the fun run earn ribbons.
