Lace up for a purpose at the 4th Annual Impact Road Race, set against the picturesque backdrop of Oak Mountain State Park in Pelham, Alabama, on Saturday, October 3, 2026. This USATF-certified event offers a variety of distances, including a challenging 10K (6.2M), a swift 5K (3.1M), and a family-friendly 1-Mile Fun Run, ensuring a perfect fit for every runner and walker. Beyond the personal accomplishment, every stride supports Seeds of Impact, a vital nonprofit dedicated to empowering parents and fostering healthy family relationships through transformative education.

All races unfold on scenic road courses within Oak Mountain State Park, offering a beautiful environment for your run. Runners should be mindful that the courses are on open roads. Typical race day conditions in early October bring comfortable highs around 82°F and lows around 60°F, with only a 10% chance of precipitation, creating favorable running weather. Aid stations, crucial for hydration, are strategically placed along the course, with a water table for the 5K approximately at the 1.25-mile mark and another for the 10K near the 3.1-mile point.

The Impact Road Race promises a vibrant atmosphere filled with motivation and camaraderie, with packet pickup beginning at 7 AM and races starting between 8 AM and 10 AM. Participants can look forward to more than just a great run; top finishers in both the 5K and 10K will compete for gift card prizes, and awards will be presented across 14 categories, with all finishers receiving a commemorative medal. The first 125 individuals to check in will also receive a race event t-shirt and swag bag, adding extra incentive to join this impactful community event.
