Starting and finishing at Flower Hill Village Park at Bonnie Heights Road and Port Washington Boulevard, this timed and certified 5K offers a meaningful experience for all participants, whether you're tackling it solo or as part of a team. The race, held rain or shine, carries a powerful legacy, commemorating Katie Oppo and supporting the Katie Oppo Research Fund's mission to increase awareness and research for Small Cell Carcinoma of the Ovary Hypercalcemic Type (SCCOHT) and other forms of ovarian cancer.

Runners can anticipate typical race day conditions with highs around 79°F and lows around 63°F, alongside a modest 17% chance of precipitation, creating a comfortable environment for your 3.1-mile journey.
