Kingwood Texas 4th of July FREEDOM RUN!!

Lace up your patriotic gear and celebrate Independence Day at the 3rd Annual Kingwood Texas 4th of July FREEDOM RUN!! on Saturday, July 4, 2026. This family-friendly event, presented by Rad Racing Company, kicks off at the scenic Town Center Park in Kingwood, TX. Runners can choose from multiple distances: a 400M Kids Dash, a 2-mile, 4-mile, or an 8-mile race. The course offers a fast and flat experience through the beautiful Kingwood Greenbelt Trails, providing a scenic backdrop for your holiday run. The 2-mile race is a 1-mile out-and-back, while the 4-mile covers one lap of the course, and the 8-mile consists of two 4-mile laps.

Beyond the race itself, the Kingwood Texas 4th of July FREEDOM RUN!! promises a festive atmosphere. Pre-race activities include music, sponsor booths, and a Pure-Barre warm-up, along with a "Best 4th of July Attire Contest" to showcase your most spirited outfit. All participants will receive a custom poly-tech race shirt, a finisher medal, and a race bib, with overall and age-group awards for top finishers. After crossing the finish line, enjoy post-race refreshments, music, and a lively finishers' tent. Typical race day conditions feature highs around 93F and lows around 76F, with a 16% chance of precipitation, so plan your hydration and race day attire accordingly. The event also proudly supports Team RWB, the Torch of Freedom Foundation, and Turning Point USA.
