Kinzua Bridge Challenge

Embark on a unique running experience at the Kinzua Bridge Challenge on Sunday, August 9, 2026, in picturesque Mount Jewett, PA. Jewett to Kinzua Bridge Rails-to-Trails, recognized as Pennsylvania's 2023 Trail of the Year. The course provides a flat, out-and-back journey on a packed crushed stone surface, ensuring an enjoyable and scenic run through the heart of the Allegheny National Forest region. Typical race day conditions in early August bring comfortable highs around 78F and lows near 55F, with only an 18% chance of precipitation, creating ideal weather for personal bests and memorable moments.

The Kinzua Bridge Challenge starts and finishes at the Center Street Trailhead, placing participants at the doorstep of the iconic Kinzua Bridge State Park and its breathtaking Skywalk.
