Kishwauketoe 5K Cross Country Run

Lace up your trail shoes for the Kishwauketoe 5K Cross Country Run on July 4, 2026, in beautiful Williams Bay, Wisconsin. This annual event offers a refreshing challenge across the scenic, grassy trails of the Kishwauketoe Nature Conservancy (KNC), presenting runners with picturesque hills, lush woods, and vibrant prairies. The course is designed to immerse you in nature, providing a truly invigorating cross-country experience.

The 5K race kicks off at 8:30 AM, beginning at the KNC entrance on Highway 67, just across from the Lions Fieldhouse. Expect typical race day conditions in early July to feature highs around 82°F and lows around 59°F, with a 15% chance of precipitation, making for potentially warm but often pleasant running weather. A single water stop will be available on the course to keep you hydrated. For those bringing their future runners, a special 1/4 mile walk/run for kids aged 10 and under starts earlier at 8:00 AM.

Parking is conveniently located at the Lions Fieldhouse parking lot, with restrooms also available there and a porta-potty near the race entrance. Please note that for the safety of all participants, dogs are not permitted at this event. Awards will be given to the top three finishers in each age category, celebrating both spirited competition and community involvement.
