This 5K Run & Walk offers participants a fast and flat road course, beginning and ending at the scenic Pompano Community Park located at 1660 NE 10th St. Runners and walkers can anticipate ideal conditions for a personal best, with typical race day temperatures hovering around a pleasant 77°F high and 62°F low, and only a 9% chance of precipitation to keep things cool.

More than just a race, this sunrise event is a powerful morning of community and care, with every step directly supporting the "Christmas in July" (CIJ) initiative. The Kiwanis' Christmas in July project is dedicated to providing personalized necessities for homeless children across Broward County, offering essential items and a day of fun to show them they are valued. Since its inception in 2001, this compassionate program has served approximately 60,000 children, making a tangible difference in their lives.
