The Lake Country Half Marathon is proudly touted as the "ONLY race around Lac La Belle!" Runners embark on a unique journey starting from the Village Green in downtown Oconomowoc. The course guides you north along a picturesque isthmus nestled between Fowler Lake and Lac La Belle, then winds west through the charming Village of Lac La Belle, tracing its serene shoreline before opening up to peaceful countryside roads. The return leg offers sweeping water views as it hugs the lake's western edge, culminating in a flat and fast final stretch to the finish line at City Beach, directly on the shores of Lac La Belle. Along the route, participants can enjoy sights of lake houses, boats, and piers.

Runners can expect excellent support with two aid stations strategically placed on the course, which runners will pass twice, providing essential water and Gatorade. A welcoming finish line aid station awaits with a refreshing free fresh fruit bar. This chip-timed event celebrates every accomplishment with custom finisher medals for all participants, while top overall male and female finishers, along with the top three in each five-year age group, will receive handcrafted awards.
