The course is known for its scenic views, offering a relatively flat to gently rolling profile suitable for all abilities, whether you're chasing a new personal record or enjoying a morning out with the family. Typical race day conditions in early August can see highs around 93F and lows around 74F, with a 15% chance of precipitation, making the 8:00 AM 5K start and 7:30 AM 1-mile start times ideal for beating the heat. Participants can look forward to a thrilling atmosphere with awards presented to the top overall male and female finishers, as well as age group winners, while all 1-mile participants will receive a finisher medal.
