Let Freedom Run 5k/10k - Louisville

Lace up your running shoes and ignite your patriotic spirit at the Let Freedom Run 5k/10k in Louisville, Colorado, on July 4, 2026. This vibrant event invites runners to celebrate freedom and "GREAT people" by participating in a costume contest, encouraging everyone to dress as their favorite American Hero for a chance to win prizes. Both the 5K and 10K courses traverse Louisville's picturesque trail system, offering a diverse running experience with a mix of concrete and engaging single-track gravel sections. The race activities, including the start and finish lines, are conveniently located outdoors at the Louisville Recreation and Senior Center, with ample parking nearby.

Runners can anticipate typical race day conditions with highs around 89F and lows around 56F, alongside a low 7% chance of precipitation, ideal for a festive morning run. Hydration is supported with one water station on the 5K course and two stations on the 10K course, which runners will pass a total of four times.
