Lighthouse Half Marathon

Lace up for an unforgettable lakeside journey at the Lighthouse Half Marathon in Fairport Harbor, Ohio, on June 14, 2026. This popular event offers a flat and scenic 13.1-mile course for both individual half marathoners and a new-for-2026 2-person relay, alongside a 2-mile run/walk, all starting and finishing conveniently near Lake Erie at Fairport Memorial Park. Runners will be treated to breathtaking views as the course winds through Lake Metroparks Painesville Township Park, with the added magic of watching the sun rise beautifully over Lake Erie during the run.

The Lighthouse Half Marathon is renowned for its picturesque setting and runner-friendly atmosphere. Aid stations, providing water and various snacks, are strategically placed approximately every couple of miles, including at miles 3.5, 6, 7.5, 9.5, 10.5, and 12.5, ensuring you stay hydrated and energized throughout your race. With typical race day conditions seeing highs around 77°F and lows around 55°F, and a relatively low 19% chance of precipitation, you can anticipate pleasant running weather. Participants will also appreciate a generous 3.5-hour time limit for the half marathon, along with a finisher medal and a T-shirt to commemorate their achievement.
