Lions Roar 5K Run/Walk

As a proud component of the 2026 Cen-Tex Race Series, the Lions Roar 5K is a chip-timed race, ensuring accurate results for those aiming for a personal best.

The race kicks off at 9:00 AM CST from the Salado Civic Center, promising a lively atmosphere. Runners can anticipate typical race day conditions for late February in Salado, with comfortable highs around 68°F and lows around 44°F, and a low chance of precipitation. Beyond the personal challenge, participating in the Lions Roar 5K is a fantastic way to support the local community, as proceeds benefit the Salado High School and Middle School Cross Country Teams and the Salado Lions Club.
