This event offers a unique "small town vibe" perfect for a "runcation," easily accessible from Cincinnati, Lexington, and Louisville. Participants can choose from a 1/2 mile (800M) Kids Fun Run, a spirited 5K Trail race, or the ultimate endurance test: the Mini Barnyard Ultra Trail. Typical race day conditions in mid-October feature comfortable highs around 69°F and lows around 46°F, with only a 13% chance of precipitation, providing ideal weather for hitting the trails.

The courses are both challenging and picturesque, leading runners through open park green-space and canopy-covered trails.
