Get ready for an exhilarating challenge at the Logan Triathlon - Cache Valley Super Sprint Triathlon, returning to Logan, UT, on July 11, 2026. This esteemed event, known as one of Utah's longest-running triathlons, offers both Sprint and Olympic distances, alongside relay options for teams. Notably, the Olympic distance features a distinctive "Swim, Swim, Bike, Bike, Run, Run" format, providing a unique and dynamic test for athletes. Participants can anticipate typical race day conditions with highs around 90°F and lows near 56°F, and a minimal 2% chance of precipitation.
The race kicks off with a serpentine swim in the Logan Aquatic Center pool, with sprint participants completing 500 meters and Olympic athletes tackling 1000 meters. Transitioning to the bike, competitors will enjoy a "nice flat straight" 12.5-mile (Sprint) or 24.8-mile (Olympic) course that is 100% paved, winding through picturesque farmlands and fields towards Mendon. Finally, the run course offers a welcome reprieve with an out-and-back route that is mostly paved, guiding racers under a canopy of trees along the scenic Logan River. Aid stations are strategically placed at miles 1 and 2 for the Sprint, and at miles 2.5, 3.5, and 4.5 for the Olympic, ensuring a fully supported experience.
Organized by On Hill Events, participants can expect a high-quality race experience with attention to detail. Every finisher receives a high-end, custom 4-inch medal and a Nextlevel race shirt. The celebratory finish line awaits at the Logan Aquatic Center, where athletes can refuel with water, Powerade, fruit, peanut butter sandwiches, and candy. Depending on race day temperatures, Fatboys Ice Cream or hot chocolate will be available to cap off your achievement. Free race photos are also provided for personal use, allowing you to cherish memories of this memorable Cache Valley event.
