The race features a 3.35-mile loop with 260 feet of elevation gain, utilizing Fort Steilacoom Park's beautiful trail system. All distances begin and end at the Elwood Drive and Angle Lane Fort Steilacoom Dog Park Parking Lot, making it easy to access your personal gear and vehicles as supplemental aid stations along the course. An official aid station at the start/finish provides light food fare, water, and various electrolyte blends, along with warm beverages throughout the run and soup at the finish. Limited gluten-free and vegan options are available, and runners with specific dietary needs are encouraged to bring their own.
