Loucks Masters Mile

This professionally timed 1-mile race consists of four exhilarating laps around the White Plains High School track. As part of the prestigious Glenn D. Loucks Memorial Track & Field Games, a nationally renowned elite meet celebrating its 58th year in 2026, this event offers a unique opportunity to compete on the same hallowed grounds that have hosted collegiate, national, and Olympic-level athletes. Starting around 7:30 PM after the scholastic events conclude, the evening atmosphere promises an energetic and engaging experience for all.

The Loucks Masters Mile welcomes runners aged 30 and up, making it one of the most accessible masters' events in the region and an ideal setting for friendly competition against local coaches and club runners. With typical race day conditions presenting comfortable highs around 67F and lows near 48F, and only a 15% chance of precipitation, the weather should be perfect for setting a personal best. Participants can look forward to awards for the top three male and female finishers, as well as medals for top age group performers, all presented on the esteemed Loucks podium.
