"Love, Jill" Memorial 5k and 1 Mile Walk

Lace up your running shoes and join the Beaver, PA community on Saturday, August 15, 2026, for the inaugural "Love, Jill" Memorial 5k and 1 Mile Walk. This heartfelt event honors the remarkable life and enduring legacy of Jill Renee Littler, a beloved member of the Beaver County community who deeply cherished family, service, and kindness. Participants can choose between a chip-timed 5K run or a leisurely 1-mile fun walk, both traversing the scenic streets of Beaver alongside the beautiful Ohio River, offering picturesque views as you move. Typical race day conditions in mid-August feature highs around 83°F and lows around 60°F, with a modest 14% chance of precipitation, providing a generally pleasant atmosphere for a summer race.

More than just a race, the "Love, Jill" Memorial is a celebration of a life lived with extraordinary compassion, strength, and grace. The event falls on Jill's birthday, making it an especially meaningful gathering. All registered participants will receive a commemorative race t-shirt, and competitive runners in the 5K will vie for plaques awarded to the Top Overall Male and Female finishers, with medals for the Top 3 Male and Female finishers across various age groups. Even if you can't make it in person, virtual options are available for both the 5K and 1 Mile distances, allowing everyone to participate and contribute.
