Love Run 5K

Lace up your running shoes for the annual Love Run 5K, a cherished family-friendly event returning to Fruitland Park, Florida, on February 7, 2026. This popular 5K is a cornerstone of the city's "LOVE WEEK" initiative, a community-wide effort dedicated to fostering generosity. Participants not only enjoy a vibrant race day experience but also contribute to a meaningful cause, as proceeds from the 2026 event will benefit New Beginnings Refuge, a faith-driven nonprofit committed to supporting homeless families in the community. The 5K course, an out-and-back route, promises an engaging journey through a residential area, featuring scenic stretches around Mirror Lake and incorporating a challenging hill. The start and finish lines for this inspiring event are located at the Gardenia Center, at 205 West Berckman Street, where doors open at 6:00 AM for an 8:00 AM race start. Beyond the main event, younger runners can join the excitement with a free Kids Fun Run, sponsored by Citizens Bank, making it a perfect outing for the entire family. All registered 5K participants receive shirts and medals, with trophies awarded to the top three finishers in various age brackets, as well as to the Overall Best Male and Overall Best Female runners.
