Embrace the island spirit and hit the pavement at the Luau 5K, 10K, & 13.1M in Concord, NC, on Saturday, May 9, 2026. This festive event, held at the scenic Vietnam Veterans Park, offers a delightful escape for runners of all abilities. Anticipate typical race day conditions with comfortable lows around 55F and highs near 80F, accompanied by a low 15% chance of precipitation, creating a pleasant environment for your run.

The course features a charming out-and-back design, primarily paved with a pleasant stretch of gravel and dirt, ensuring a varied yet runner-friendly experience. Enjoy the natural beauty of a shaded course as you complete your chosen distance. The 5K runners will complete one out-and-back loop, 10K participants will tackle two loops, and half marathoners will challenge themselves with four loops of the course. A generous course time limit of 3 hours and 30 minutes allows participants to enjoy the journey at their own pace. All finishers will be celebrated with a unique themed medal, and for those who truly embrace the luau theme, there's an exciting award for the best costume. This race also contributes points towards the prestigious US Road Running Race Series.

Race day kicks off with an 9:30 AM start time, with packet pickup beginning 30 minutes prior.
