Typical race day conditions in early May feature highs around 86°F and lows near 66°F, with only a 10% chance of precipitation, promising a warm and generally clear day for running.

The race kicks off at 8:00 AM from Shamrock Park, with the start line located on the path behind the Nature Center. Runners will navigate an out-and-back course that is a mix of concrete and asphalt, winding through the stunning scenery of the Nature Center. The 5K involves one out-and-back lap, the 10K consists of two laps, and half marathoners will complete four laps of the course. Conveniently, bathrooms are available within the Nature Center itself.

The Half Marathon features a generous time limit of 3 hours and 30 minutes, accommodating a wide range of paces.
