Prepare to challenge yourself at the Lumberjack 100, an enduring test of grit and endurance set for June 6, 2026, in the scenic Pacific Northwest. Held in beautiful Port Gamble, Washington, this race offers distances of 100 miles, 100 kilometers, and 50 miles. Runners will navigate a course comprised of eight demanding 12.5-mile loops, a strategic design allowing for frequent access to support. The terrain is a dynamic mix of approximately 75% singletrack and 25% dirt roads, winding through lush landscapes. While there are no colossal climbs, the course is defined by its relentless "ups and downs," accumulating around 1500 feet of elevation gain per loop, culminating in a significant 12,000 feet for the 100-mile distance. This well-marked route, utilizing reflective tape and arrows, ensures navigability day and night.

The Lumberjack 100, celebrating its 15th year in 2026, prioritizes runner support. Each 12.5-mile loop features three fully stocked and energetic aid stations, including the start/finish area. These stations are equipped with everything ultrarunners need, from Tailwind to hot food available throughout the night. Pacers are permitted for the 100-mile distance after 50 miles (loop 4), and the 100K after 50 miles (for the 5th loop), providing a welcome boost during later stages. The start and finish are conveniently located at The Uplands, a quarter-mile south of Port Gamble on State Route 104, offering ample parking and space for car or tent camping. Typical race day conditions in early June boast pleasant highs around 66°F and lows around 50°F, with a low chance of precipitation, creating an ideal environment for tackling this challenging looped course.
