Lunch Lady Hustle 5K

Lace up your non-slip shoes for the 6th Annual Lunch Lady Hustle 5K Run/Walk, set to take place on Saturday, May 9, 2026, in Lexington, KY. This vibrant event celebrates the incredible dedication of school lunch ladies and offers a fantastic experience for runners and walkers of all ages. The course, situated at Coldstream Park/Legacy Trail in Northwest Lexington, is a flat and fast out-and-back route on paved and concrete surfaces, featuring very little elevation change, making it perfect for those chasing a personal best or enjoying a leisurely stroll. Two hydration stations at miles 1.4 and 1.9 will keep you refreshed along the way.

The Lunch Lady Hustle is renowned for its unique and fun-filled atmosphere. Expect great music, delicious food, and camaraderie from fellow participants. Embrace the spirit of the event by channeling your favorite 1970s school cafeteria hero for the "Best Dressed Lunch Lady Contest," or take on "The Lunch Lady Challenge" to test your speed against the "Running Lunch Lady." The start and finish lines are conveniently located on the east end of the Coldstream Dog Park area. Typical race day conditions in early May feature comfortable highs around 74°F and lows around 54°F, with only a 20% chance of precipitation, promising pleasant running weather.
