Mad Anthony Mud Run

This 3-mile challenge is far from your average race, offering a course packed with "Battles" and stretches of ankle-deep mud designed to test your mettle. Participants can expect typical race day conditions with highs around 49°F and lows near 29°F, and about an 11% chance of precipitation, setting the stage for a truly muddy good time.

The Mad Anthony Mud Run course, primarily located at Coyner Springs Park, traverses scenic fields and trails, featuring over a dozen challenging obstacles that demand determination and skill. Runners will encounter a long tire run, a muddy trench crawl, high walls, an A-frame cargo crawl, monkey bars, and even very tall hay bales. A unique highlight is the infamous "Tunnel Run," a lengthy, pitch-black tunnel under a highway that can feature ankle to knee-deep water, adding an extra layer of adventure to this exhilarating event.

Beyond the mud and obstacles, the Mad Anthony Mud Run is celebrated for its vibrant community atmosphere, often attracting runners in colorful costumes. As the first event in the "Run The Valley Race Series," it’s a fantastic way to kick off your race season.
