Master's 5K/10K

Lace up for the Master's 5K/10K on Wednesday, July 8, 2026, in the stunning setting of Anchorage, Alaska. This annual event, hosted by the Anchorage Running Club, offers both a 5K and a 10K distance, catering exclusively to runners aged 40 and above seeking a spirited and supportive race experience. Participants can look forward to typical race day conditions with highs around 68F and lows around 54F, accompanied by a low 6% chance of precipitation, creating ideal weather for a summer run.

The race starts and finishes on the picturesque trails by Chuck Albrecht Fields along Martin Luther King Jr. Drive. Runners will navigate an engaging out-and-back course that winds through the scenic trails bordering the Alaska Native Hospital and Alaska Pacific University. This setting provides a beautiful backdrop for a challenging yet enjoyable run, offering a fantastic opportunity to connect with fellow masters runners in a vibrant community atmosphere. Bib pickup begins at 5:00 PM, with the race officially starting at 6:00 PM, allowing for an evening run under the Alaskan summer sky.
