Mayfaire 5K

The Mayfaire 5K, celebrating its 47th year on Saturday, May 9, 2026, invites runners and walkers to experience the charm of Lakeland, FL, with a unique evening race. Kicking off at 7:00 PM, this popular 5K takes participants on a scenic journey through downtown Lakeland and the historic Lake Morton district. The USATF-certified course features a rolling terrain that winds past picturesque Lake Mirror, includes a downhill stretch around Lake Morton, an out-and-back over Success Avenue, and a climb up Iowa Avenue before a celebratory descent to the finish line on the Francis C. Langford Promenade overlooking Lake Mirror. Runners will enjoy views of local landmarks, including the beautiful Hollis Garden.
