Medal Madness 5K, 10K, and Half Marathon

Lace up for an exhilarating end-of-year challenge at the Medal Madness 5K, 10K, and Half Marathon, set to take place in Jackson, TN, on Saturday, December 12, 2026. This popular event, hosted by US Road Running, offers a vibrant and friendly atmosphere, welcoming runners and walkers of all skill levels to North Park. The race kicks off at 8:30 AM, with typical race day conditions seeing highs around 54F and lows near 33F, coupled with an 18% chance of precipitation, making for potentially crisp and invigorating running weather.

The scenic, paved out-and-back course at North Park provides a generally flat and accessible route. Participants in the 5K will complete two loops of a 0.78-mile out-and-back segment, while 10K runners will tackle it four times. For those opting for the Half Marathon, the challenge involves six repetitions of a longer 2.18-mile out-and-back segment, offering a consistent and manageable elevation. A generous 3-hour and 30-minute time limit ensures that participants across all distances can comfortably reach the finish line.
