This engaging event invites runners of all abilities to challenge themselves on a picturesque out-and-back course within Midlothian Mines Park, with the start and finish echoing by the stunning Loch Lothian at the Headstock. Participants in the 5K will complete two loops of the course, while 10K runners will tackle it four times, all within a generous two-hour course limit. Runners can anticipate typical race day conditions with highs around 86F and lows near 65F, accompanied by a 14% chance of precipitation, making for a warm but potentially refreshing late summer run.
