Starting and finishing at the picturesque Truman Waterfront Park near the historic Coast Guard Cutter Ingham, the course features three loops around the park, promising a flat and enjoyable journey for runners and walkers alike.
Participants can look forward to the vibrant atmosphere of Key West and the rewarding feeling of contributing to a local scholarship fund. Typical race day conditions in early May feature comfortable temperatures, with highs around 86°F and lows around 74°F, accompanied by only a 10% chance of precipitation, making for ideal running weather. All 5K runners and walkers will traverse the same inviting course. The first 100 entrants will receive a complimentary T-shirt, and awards will be presented to the overall male and female winners, Masters male and female winners, the top two male and female finishers in each 10-year age group for runners, and the top two male and female walkers.
