This event offers runners a choice between an 8.8-mile and a 5-mile course, each showcasing the unparalleled beauty of the Merced River Canyon. Starting from the parking lot by the Briceburg bridge, participants will experience typical race day conditions with highs around 47°F and lows around 34°F, and an 18% chance of precipitation, creating a crisp and invigorating atmosphere.

The longer 8.8-mile Burma Grade course is renowned as a true test of endurance, featuring the most elevation gain of any foot race in the county. It's an out-and-back journey that begins at river level and ascends the "mighty Burma Grade" for 4.5 miles, promising an immense sense of accomplishment upon completion.
